Jim I think was misunderstanding the issue. And I believe you are too. The safety issue is intact. The bike will start if you are in neutral without pulling the clutch in. If it is in gear, then it will only start when you pull the clutch in. If you let the clutch out after it is running, that is no different than any other time you ride, so safety is still not compromised. Or did I fall off the turnip truck?
