I recently bought a nolan N40 with what appears to be a COMM 4 system installed.
Standard 5 pin DIN cable and a another 5 pin DIN w/a battery box that says 1500 on it.
I have a Kawasaki Voyager. When I plug in the headset, either with or without the cord with the battery box, I get a loud feedback like squeal through the speakers.

Any ideas as to what is wrong. My voyager headset works fine. I was hoping this new system would give better fidelity.
