I got that with my Metzlers too. I got tired of riding that flat spot for the last 7K miles. So for half the price and life I went to Parelli MT66. I get 7500 miles from the rear, they handle well and are good in the rain. The last 1500 miles are on the flat wear spot. I just got tired of wiggle when I cross the lane markers and following tar snakes. Sure who doesn't want a long life from a tire but at what cost, poor handleing on rough surface doesn't work for me. Looks like the front is going to last as long as the Metzler.
