Subject: Having now seen and saved Sue Couch's 4 photos of the models, I'm entirely happy with the visual side of things which far surpass (for me) the Al Fayed spaceship or the scheme Khan could build but hasn't chosen to. Above all, if it ever did get built, it wouldn't spoil the existing CC for traditionalists. Hurrah for that. Can't see objectors getting far on the look or size of the development or anything on the football side of things. But noise, traffic, parking, if the intention is to attract significant use outside matchdays -- expect that to be the area of contention.
In reply to: TSW 's message, "Completely agree with that, a large single(ish) tier looks more imposing & will definitely help the atmosphere with its boxed in corners. The roof terrace looks amazing, more in keeping with some of the new cricket stands in Australia, although not sure what its going to be like with a freezing wind off the Thames in January? Very pleasant early & late season thougj" on Thursday, October 12, 10:07:27pm
