Subject: So stuff those who are not in great health with osteo arthritis or similar who can't clap but want to show support? When rattles were in vogue, it didn't stop chants. Both happened to create an atmosphere. Rattles wete banned. We have lots of snowflake supporters over the use of clappers. Personally I like to clap and chant but I see the benefit of letting older folk or kids enjoy it.
In reply to: Matt@Raunds 's message, "Nothing to do with being delicate, but I find the sight of fully grown adults banging a bit of cardboard rather than just using their hands to clap pretty pathetic." on Sunday, April 15, 10:12:23pm
