Subject: I believe that 'The Khans' are committed to the club but Tony Khan's misguided transfer policy needs addressing. For example, Glenn Murray would have been light years outside their 'model' - but look how effective he's been for Brighton. They must liaise with the Team Manager and respect his judgement before 'investing in' expensive flops. As to the Riverside, they have already given it the green light, so surely that is a real positive, in the bigger picture, as is purchasing the BBC Sports Ground at Motspur Park. At the risk of being berated on these pages, quite looking forward to the Parker/Gray era + rebuilding & consolidating next term. Let's face it, this season in the Premiership has been hellish.
In reply to: Fulham Si 's message, "I’m starting to think that the Khans blue print for Fulham is Arsenal. Think about it we develop youth only to see them move away. We try to create good looking football at the detriment to the defense. We will develop our stadium even though it takes away from attention and focus from the playing results. Finally when we recruit players we won’t compete on wages and bids for established players we will try and find the next star by being really really clever. Tony Khan is a poor mans Arsenne Wenger. The problem is it didn’t work for Arsenal at their level and it s not working for us at our level. Arsenal’s aim was to win trophies and leagues and our aim was to sustain premier league status both clubs failed this way. Just a thought!" on Monday, March 11, 08:11:29am
