Subject: Re: The thing is Alboy, : Yes I also respectfully disagree with young players it has everything to do about confidence and belief. First you have to have ability and potential which is what Sessegnon has. I think he has the ability and he may need time as you say. I think Cairney could well saty and Sess would be wise to stay and learn his trade further. Balancing the books is best served by getting promotion as quickly as possible as the rewards are so high.
In reply to: . 's message, "The thing is Alboy, players like Cairney & Sess are not going to stay. Even if they wanted to, the club will still sell them to balance the books. And I would respectfully disagree with the inference it's more confidence than ability with some of our players, most notably Sess: he's not good enough for the Premiership, has nothing to do with confidence. He's completely out of his depth. That's not the young mans fault; the media & many niave fans over hyped him without really understanding what they were watching or the obvious limitations. That's not to say he might not go on to become an 'effective' premiership player one day, but he's a couple of years off that at the moment. We just need to try and keep the likes of McDonald, Ayite, Johansen, Ream, Odoi, Bryan and Betts then add a couple of decent young Championship established/proven players to that line of experience. But we'll need upgrades to our recruitment strategy if next season is going to prove successful." on Wednesday, March 13, 03:32:31pm
