Subject: As 'Me' said (above) - there was a University-based study which placed Millwall 6th - based on form etc. BBC reprinted it as gospel. Think it was Reading University - cannot find it now. Agree that it should all be called off; with L1 & 2 calling it a day, whole competition is more or less valueless. Let Liverpool have title - otherwise, that's it - no promotion/relegation, clear decks for 2020-2021 to start, whenever that may be. Continued faffing around means clubs go bust eg Bolton, Tranmere to name but two who have publicly issued dire warnings of folding

  • It would be nice if the football governing bodies asked our opinions about finishing the season or not. As always, the paying spectators have no say despite fan presence being integral to the senior professional game. I would rather watch my local park team than watch a professional game played in an empty stadium. At least the former would be meaningful to me. • Nice idea but how would this work outside of including formal supporters groups in the discussions, which they be doing a way. Ajrl (NT) -- Ajrl, Friday, May 22, 06:58:55pm (host86-145-154-163.range86-145.btcentralplus.com/86.145.154.163)
