Subject: Some of us just have not been able to get to games for various reasons this season. We have not missed a home game for 18 years except for holidays or being fogged in. Renewed our season tickets but have not been able to get to a game yet first because a lot of our normal flights were not running as per their normal schedules ( a 3 o’clock Saturday game would have meant flying out at 6am ant not returning until Sunday at 1800.). A normal Saturday was flying to London at 10.30 and returning home at 17.40 on the Saturday. Illness and Covid rules haven’t helped. I imagine others are in the same boat as we are so not surprised most teams aren’t selling out.
In reply to: fof 's message, "you could be forgiven for thinking a good old fashioned West London derby may create some excitement doesnt seem to be the case these days i think so many Fulham fans dont live in Fulham anymore its just another game in my day there would of been all sorts of shenanigans ..." on Tuesday, October 12, 05:05:55pm

  • Many seem more bothered by Brentford. I don't understand that myself. For me, QPR was always the local derby. I think it is a 'Boomer' thing. Did 'Gen X' and the 'millennials' see more Brentford derbies, than QPR derbies? (NT) -- Juana Aorta, Wednesday, October 13, 11:05:42am (88-111-157-236.dynamic.dsl.as9105.com/
