  • Yes, the BBC player ratings are consistently completely unfathomable and bizarre. Every week, every match, every player. They are the footballing equivalent of crop circles. No ones got a clue where they come from or why they exist. For your info Jiminez had a decent enough game but was nowhere near being the best player on the pitch, let alone being rated over 9. My guess is that when fulhamfc.com gives the result of POTM Tete, Lukic and Anderson will be the 3 in contention. • Yep thats what I concluded from the comments of the people at the game.Last weeks were even stranger. (NT) -- HemelRog, Sunday, September 29, 10:47:50am (5ec0f8a7.skybroadband.com/94.192.248.167)
  • " No ones got a clue where they come from " Not true. Take any match on the BBC web site and anyone can give any player a score, whether or not they've even seen or heard the match. Thus, it's all rubbish. From the BBC "After the opportunity to rate players has closed, the score displayed represents the average from all the submissions by BBC Sport users."
