Subject: What dances are you struggling with the most?

For me it's Seige of Carrick, Antrim Reel, An Rince Mor, Lannigan's Ball and Waves of Tory. The others I have down pretty well, but I keep on mixing these ones up!

Any tips?

Like "Roger Runs Down Under" for Siege of Carrick. Rings, R/L Wheel, Down the Center and Turn, Up the Center and Swing. If they have a set tune, like Lannigan's, Haste and Siege, you can also try writing the movements into lyrics for the tune. Double benefit because you remember the movements, but also the tune -- and they will ask you to sing the tune, so make sure you know it.

Try singing this to the Lannigan's Ball Tune... Worked like a charm for me... I'll never forget the movements again!

Lannigan's Ball has Ring and Quarter's Hook
Rise and Grind Step and Lead Round in Centre
Flirt with the girls and Stack Up everyone
Lead Around then dance the Ring again.

Good luck!
