Subject: May be a dumb question but when you went/go in for your teaching portion, did you shake hands with the panel or do youplan on doing that?

Any other suggestions?

Just nerves at this point and want to follow proper etiquette if there is any.

Thanks!

If they feel uncomfortable about shaking hands, an option is to thank them after they are finished.

You are asking these people to consider you for your next job so consider it like an interview. Shaking hands is a way of greeting, saying good-bye and thank you.

Some other good advice....dress for the job you want, not the one your in.

Good luck!

Everyone that went in before me had to teach either solos or one of the sets they danced before. When I went it, i was asked to teach a "hornpipe set." kinda caught me off guard.
