Subject: Is it an automatic fail if your dancers dont get through a part??? I taught one ceili without any major hangups, but dancers never danced skip across to time or correctly, even though we went over it again and again.

it while I clearly stated ........ which arm to pass with, catch with etc. Some would do it right one time and then wrong the next, so I could not really move onpast that part!! I went over to each couple when they made a mistake and explained which way to turn or who to turn with, but at one point the examiner said to one of the dancers - your in the wrong place agian, take responsibility for that, so I'm hoping I will have a bit of mercy. The dancers seemed to be a mix, some younger less experienced and some older more polished dancers. My second ceili did go well though, hopeing it is enough to get me by.
