Subject: Yes I did! Did my own steps from over 10 years ago. I have since had children am in late 30's and put off the exam for the same reason you say in your post. In the end I was tormented, so I just practised really hard and went for it.

Yes - I did steps from about 18 years ago, they were the 'fiddliest' I could remember from all those years ago, but the examiners actually told me that they loved hearing proper rhythm again. Go for it!
