Hello,

I am off to Dublin next week and thought I'd share with you a little preperation tip I've come up with for learning the ceilis. I downloaded 'audacity' free from the internet and recorded myself saying all the ceili dances from ARF on different tracks. The programme is reasonably user friendly and I was able to export all the tracks to my itunes. So now, I have me reading all the ceili dances on my ipod - which I've been wondering around the house listening to! Best of all, after one listen my score on a past paper was 91% (my personal best so far being 65%) Am very pleased with myself and thought I'd share it with you for any other 'audio' learners out there :O)

I am slightly worried about my levels of sanity. 'back and back and back he goes cos Bonaparte's retreating...' just one of my many crazy ways of remembering the set dances! :O)

Hope you're all feeling sprightly for Dublin folks! Good luck.

xx
