According to a poll a signifigent proportion of Americans believe their government was involved in the 9/11 atrocities.

I`m not a fan of the present American administration but the impression we get on the British media is that they are incompetant...not intentionally malign. But if that poll is even remotely representative of American public opinion Bush is going to get owned in the forthcoming November mid term elections. He could lose control of both houses, the Senate and the house of Representatives.
