Subject: Baffling.....?
In reply to: Gerry 's message, "Valley Forge Rally" on 17:32:43 03/16/03 Sun

They hired Glenn Beck.... what do you expect? O'Reilly is on tape delay... you can pick up 710 AM in the area and hear him live. The Best of Hannity of Sundays and a reduced one at that....? Imus.... you can pick up 660 AM in the area.

I have the solution.... Phil Hendrie all day....! Listening to him now on 810 AM.

[> What was baffling was how just about every meida outlet stripped WPHT's name from any mention of the rally. That was either ignorant, lazy or deliberate. -- Surf, 15:58:29 03/19/03 Wed

[> [> My money's on deliberate. A guy down here used my former station, WMEL, to announce his candidacy for a special election a few weeks ago, and the local paper simply said the announcement was made "on a local radio show." Why give a competitor free advertising? -- "Vince From Villanova" (Just spell my name right, please.), 03:45:13 03/20/03 Thu

[> [> [> Deliberate. The Inquirer's not smart enough to understand that radio exists. If it was TV, they would've had TV "critic" Jonathan Storm cover it in a column. Oh, wait, this was a "conservative" event. And we're talking about the Inquirer. Never mind. By the way, the rally's being played back on 1210 Friday (tomorrow) at 5PM, but you already knew that, didn't you. -- Scott Tilde, 20:42:22 03/20/03 Thu
