Subject: Roxanne (The Rottweiler) is looking for someone special

Roxie is a 5 1/2 yr. old owner surrender. She came to me barely able to stand. She has been on highly recommended, over the counter, med.'s for two weeks now and has shown major improvement. I have a harness on her to help her across the tile floors. She was going to be put to sleep, as her owners could not afford to take care of her medical problems. I paid $20.00 for a months worth of med.'s and got her some flea shampoo. She has also shown signs of being beaten, (not aggressive) cowering, and her ribs and back bone were showing. She has put on weight and is improving, all the way around, greatly. She really needs someone to give her the love and care, she obviously, never recieved. She had three litters of pups and is spayed now. I am now trying to find someone to open their home and heart to her. I have 9 dogs here currently (Rescue's and my own) and cannot give her the retirement home she needs. She is great with my children as she was raised with kids and a little Yorkie boy. She has been exposed to cats and shows no sign of aggression. She loves and listens to me well and it took her a little while to come around with my Hubby as she had to learn that he wasn't going to beat her! She was owned by a man previously. I couldn't see her put to sleep and am hoping to find someone to give her a good home. I do require a home check, with references, and a contract. I want to make sure she will be happy and taken care of, after all she has been through. If you are that special person with the love Roxanne needs please email me at NeoDogHouse@aol.com or you can call my cell at 727-457-5534. I am located in central Florida (Pasco County) and am willing to travel in the state of Florida for a good home for her.
