Subject: Lost companion

Today I had to put my 10yr old boxer "Mako" to sleep. Her legs finally had failed her and there was nothing more the Vet could do for us to make her comfortable....This was Diesel's "OLD MAMMA". He usually a little aggressive towards her, but must have known she was failing because he checked on her every night before going to bed and every morning when he woke up. Now I've come home and he is looking everywhere for her. I think he'd rather be an only child so for now....no more dogs...I think? Does anyone have any insight into signs of depression in a Neo? He sleeps all the time anyways:0)...Let me know if there is any signs I should look out for.....thanks to all for all the help....Irene
