The search for the first ever MISS ISLAND PHILIPPINES 2008
was launched and formally opened by
MISS PHILIPPINES PAGEANTRY PRODUCTIONS, INC.
This is another big opportunity for all Filipinas who
aspires to become ambassadress of goodwill and beauty queen.
The pageant aims not only to showcase the beauty of our
women but also to promote the beauty of our 7,100 islands.
The winners will, have the right to represent the country in
the Miss Tourism pageant in Malaysia and Miss Bikini of the
world in Caracas, Venezuela.
Applicants must be from 18 to 26 years of age, at least 5'5"
in height, single with good moral character and pleasing
personality and a high school graduate.
Screening dates is set on March 8 and 9 from 1pm to 5pm at
Formula Bar in Tomas Morato. Final screening is scheduled on
March 15, 2008 at Imperial Palace Suites. Early walk in
applicants will be accepted on this date. Press Presentation
will be held at the Trumway Garden Buffet also in Timog on
March 26,2008.
Exciting prizes awaits the winners including P150,000.oo in
cash plus other valuables prizes from sponsors. Cash
incentives also awaits the talent scouts and agents. From
P3,000 to P5,000.
Coronation Night is set on april 4, 2008 at the newly opened
SMX Convention Center (SM Mall of Asia). Admission is free.
The event will be hosted by Mr' Johnny Litton and fashion
trend setter Ms. Tessa Prieto Valdez.
