If you know your Freudian psychology, you would know that the ego is the distinct personality of the brain that plays the balancing act between the pulls of the super-ego (society's rules and laws) and the id (one's wants). So, unless you'd like to claim you're not human, you have an ego. As for having a soul, it's a personal religous belief on whether one has one or not.
