Liam had given up.

Even after his adventures with The Saga and Tenchi, after MSTing with Iggy! (Whom Amanda had surely eviscerated, if Star or J.T. hadn't done so already), after meditation, prayers, and eeven a bout of hedonistic romping, he had not found peace. The Way of the Philosopher was difficult to follow when one is forced upon the Way of the Sword. The only resolution he could think of was to mewt Pater, and hope that He would reveal all things to him. "Maybe Star will kill me.

It was late in the evening when Liam made it to the battlefield where Iggy and Star duked it out. Or rather, where Star destroyed Iggy, twice. He sat, lotus style, on the hard clay that was exposed during the battle. And he waited.

"Where is she?" asked Liam. "She's s'posed to kill me already. Did she, like, go on a date with Jay and couldn't make it?"

"She's busy kicking your creaters wimpy ass," said a voice behind him. "But if you want me to kick your ass, I'd be more than happy to fight you. And win..."

"If you're gonna kill me," said Liam, stoically, "do it and get it over with."

"Where's the enjoyment in that?" asked Silver.

"Who th' hell said you had to enjoy it?" replied Liam, in a depressed tone...


This should be... odd...
