As she watched her materia scatter to the four winds, Star's eyes were awash with flame. "Oh, NOW you've done it. You never bothered to find out if materia was all I had, eh? Pity, that... But, I might as well get some practice with this, anyway..."

Holding up her conformer, Star stood up in one fluid motion, and started walking across the field towards Iggy, conformer in hand, at what appeared to be a leisurley pace. However, if one looked closely, she seemed to be flickering in and out, as if she wasn't always where she seemed to be. Then, for one heart-stopping moment, she disappeared.

Iggy looked all around the battlefield, cautious and a bit nervous, wondering where his opponent had disappeared to. It was only by chance that he was looking in the right direction when he saw Star heading straight for him, conformer in hand, poised to strike.
