Everything I have heard so far has been great! I just want to be sure before we spend money to go to a convention. I have seen good things about them, but I would like to know if they are for real. Their telephone script was posted on the net showing how they take everyone - they tell everyone they have been "chosen" by the way the sales person gets $250.00 of your deposit - that is why everyone is chosen. They almost suckered me in, but I was smart enough to ask them questions. I asked them how many of their "chosen" people had gotten a contract out of the convention and the average number of call backs they received, but they just didn't have the answers. They both had excellent experiences. It is well run and very professional. I am not sure what you are wanting to get out of it. Obviously if you live in the Midwest you are not going to get lots of work in NY or LA from here. But, you will get to meet agents that will educate you on the business and that will help you decide if this is for you. I cannot say enough nice things about Carey and Bill Arban that run AMTC. But, I've heard if you live in a small market (i.e. anywhere but NY, Miami, LA . . .), it may be beneficial. It's an opportunity to be seen by top casting agents that you don't have if you don't live near the "BIG" markets. BUT, you are not guarenteed even 1 callback, so your thousands of dollars may be wasted. Also, Millie Lewis is a modeling SCHOOL, not an agency. Good Luck, whatever you choose!
