Subject: Still not warmed up at all

hi again.
My two female buttons are doing fine in every sense, its just that they're still scared of me.

Will thery ever warm up? They are store-bought and I do not know their history.

They used to take mealworms from my hands, now they're too scared. I take one in everyday at 10am to have a little walk around my room and to sit her on me. Most of the time she just jumps off though.

If i put mealworms infront of her, next to me, she'll eat them. But if i move in anyway she'll bolt off.

I dont expect her to be like the quails in the stories I've read, since she's store-bought, but will she change in anyway at all?

she sits in my hand if I stand up, or will stand in my arm. Is this a good sign? :)

also, its only been around 3-4 weeks since I got her, is this WAY to early to be expecting her to warm up?

Please give me some tips to help her trust me in the future, such as getting her out of the cage, picking her up ect.

you guys are really helpful, thanks in advance ^^
