I'm really not worried about him losing intrest. He will be held and loved on no matter what. Nothing will change from his daily lovings. He has free roam of my apt and only goes in his box when I am not home or when it is birdie bed time. We don't use cages, we use airline kennels. I have found that with me moving alot it is safer. Just incase a heavy box falls he is in a safe place that is hard to crush. I watch that SUPER close and would never allow that to happen. It just takes 1 time so I want to keep all my birds safe. Not only for safty concerns it keeps them warm and a place of their own to escape to if they want. Elvis is the only bird that I have that has 2 "properties" He has his vacation home in the summer... It is inside for the summer... The heat in Las Vegas would cook him and then he has a townhouse on our patio for the winter. Moby's is a single level ranch style home... lol. I am just laughing at myself while I describe my birdie homes. Reading it... It is very obvious I SPOIL my animals.
Take Care,
Dawn and Moby
