Well, I did some research and there are plastic and alloy bands that are permanent. I didn't like the idea of them being permanent...
So I found some that are suitable for baby chicks and quail. They are round and stretchy little bands, which fit close to but still kinda loose on their legs. And come off easily and are re usable.
There are lots of different colours and my mother quail are going to have pink and my dads blue :-D
