If the temperatures are that low, you might want to wait a little bit... Some birds just can't handle the lower temperatures. This website that Michele has created is very insightful to almost every need of our Button Quail. But the first time I hatched buttons, I gave some of them away after they had been fully feathered for two or three weeks. I personally would not do anything before that. Also, once they are fully feathered, sometimes their attitudes towards each other changes. We had some temperamental issues with a few of our quail.
