How is your bird acting? Usually when there is an injury, it is best to put them in a "hospital cage" so the bird can heal. That consists of a cage or box that has a heat lamp set up to keep the bird warm. It is usually best to isolate them, so no other bird will disturb them or peck at any wound the injured bird might have. In addition to normal food and water, a ground up boiled egg, complete with the shell, is good to provide protein. That's the second thing we do when we have a sick bird. First is the heat lamp. In certain cases, we have put some karo syrup in a small amount of water for birds that were lethargic.

Hope you bird will be ok.
