Anne, one should never put smaller animals of any kind with larger animals without first introducing them over an extended period of time. Ever heard of the pecking order and wonder where the saying originated? Birds (as well as other animals) have a hiarchy of power that begins at a very early age, even as chicks. They establish who is to be the greatest in power down to the very meekest chick that gets pecked and shoved out of the way during feeding time. Almost always, the larger animals will eat and drink first, leaving a minimal amount of food for the underlings. Not a good idea, Anne!!!
