I've always heard they do best in pairs and you can't know whether they would get along as trio. Especially not if the pair is already used to each other, your female might definitely thing of the new girl as an intruder. Depending on the size of the aviary I would get another pair, if you want more. My aviary is 11 by 11 feet, and I have 2 pairs that get along great besides occasional rivalry among the guys who want to show off to the girls. They seem to be "going steady" though, the same male and female always hang out together. (I have Dino + Marilyn, and Frankie + Jane. ;-)
