i would wait a few hours after hatching to remove...and if all of your birds get along, and if the parakeet nests on the ground, you can probably leave them together. and, if the parakeet is already sitting on the egg, you dont want to take it away, already warmed up, if not, then put it back with mom + dad for a day or so
