Hi Chris-

I know that many years back there were some in the US and what i've learned is that they are no longer present in the US. However, I am hoping that someone somewhere in a little corner of somewhere in the US there's this little old person whai has kept them hidden and I am hoping that I could find them. I am willing to pay the price. I have tried to locate some in Africa but the problem is that there has been so many CHINESE Blue Breasted Quails releaseed in their habitat that I am afraid that there has been a cross between them and they aren't true African BBQ.(NOT Bar-B-Que!!! But Blue Breasted Quail lol)

The same happens with ourr beloved CBBQ. The "Wild" type of the CBBQ has been inbred and mutated and re-inbred that I doubt there are REAL "wild" type available in the US. BUT all we can do is try our best to improve what we have. :)

Sadly, I strongly believe that there will not be any REAL CBBQ in the wild for very long. Hopeffully the Chinese government does soomething to change this SOON!!! Before it is too late.

Thank you for your response Chris.

Charlie
