Hello Julian, So sorry to hear about your little quail. If he is still alive, put him into a hospital cage on soft towelling(tight weave to prevent nails getting caught...bedding that hasn't got a strong scent from washing) Add a light beside the hospital cage for extra warmth. The taping of the wing, is this around the whole body? ...be careful that it isn't too tight, birds can suffocate easy if they are held tight or wrapped tight. The wing break, how did it happen? ...was there other trauma? If this little guy was grabbed by a pet(especially a cat)..this is often fatal, more from the bacteria from the saliva(needs to get on antibiotics right away). Is there a local vet in your area that has experience with birds, probably best to be examined. So sorry about your situation...warmth, quiet, and no tight restraints would be my advice....contacting a vet would be the next step.

Hope he makes it.

Chris
