Subject: New noises from little Shy

New noises from little guy 'Shy'. He was a 'class pet' in the science dept. at a jr. high. The kids thought it was funny to catch and throw him at the girls to make them scream. I found out and took him home 3 months ago and gave him a great cage where he settled in and is very spoiled and loved. The teacher said he had never made a noise but now he crows, deep breathes, a peeps a lot. He seems really happy but lately instead of crowing in cycles of once or twice a night he is being very vocal, but not quite the same as crowing much more often throughout the night. I don't mind at all but is he unhappy or just comfortable now? I worry he may be lonely but don't want to breed, and think with another male maybe they might fight? Any thoughts on this?
