I give mine green leafie vegetables as well and they also have greenish droppings. I guess it would be okay as long as the dropping is not too watery which may indicate eating too much lettuce...moderation is best. Sounds like he is in good health.. As far as I know, button quails do molt but once or several times a year I can't remember lol...If he is molting make sure to give him high protein crumbles and other good protein supplements. I've given my quails Kaytee molting and conditioning supplements mixed in with the crumbles and they do eat it. Other than that seems like you're taking really good care of him. If he's not losing too many feathers at once or have any bloody spots most likely he's molting.. you will see pin feathers growing.. good luck!
