Yes, he is still by himself and very vocal. I was wondering if there is a website displaying their different vocabulary sounds because even when he is loud it does not always sound like the regular 'crowing'. I can tell a definite difference, he usually starts the 'darth vadar' style breathing before the regular crowing, but the other loud sounds are very pleasant to hear and almost sound like he is happy. I have a book with a chip that plays tons of different bird calls but button quails are not in it. He peeps and chirps softly a lot when he is really content. He sure has been in love with the mirror though :)
