Good questions! Not sure the answers but can say that I've seen coturnix quail housed together in good numbers. We have a single coturnix quail here and she is very tame and quiet. A few years back, I use to have a small group of them in the same cage and I believe they got along just fine.


P.S. They are wonderful pets!
