Hi,

Your cage should be adequately large enough, especially with the various places to hide and get away from an aggressive bird, if that should happen.

Their diet seems ok, but they really need the protein from the crumble. I don't know why they won't eat it. If you give them only the crumble with no other veggies or seeds, will they eat it then? That may be what you have to do, supplementing with the goodies only after they have eaten some crumble. If they totally refuse to eat it, then give them protein in another form -- boiled egg with the shell. Also, the females will need extra calcium, that they can get from the egg shell or grit. You can boil the quail eggs and feed that to them, also.
