Hi Michaela,

This is the fun, exciting part! It is cute to watch the hens sit, and like your male, the dad will often help out. Leave the eggs alone and let nature have its way. When the eggs start to hatch, watch the male carefully. Sometimes they will peck at a chick and kill it. Sometimes they are good dads, though. We had one male who would let the chicks climb all over him and hide under his wings. Having chicks is a whole new ball game, and I won't go into all the details now. But read the info on the links on the main page about chicks and how you need to prepare for them, i.e. ground food, heat lamp, rubber matting, etc. Then ask any questions and we will try to help you out! Keep us posted on the progress!
