Hi there,

Yes, well, on Friday the 22nd I woke up to find 6 of the 8 eggs hatched! TINY yellow chicks - very sweet.

The father actually does most of the work, he stored all the babies up in his wings! Always peeping at them and feeding them.

They get ground crumble, fine chicken feed, fruit, vegetables and bugs.

They are now 1 and a half weeks old, fully feathered apart from their heads! Too cute!


Will I be able to tell their sex when the neck feathers finish coming through?
