You'll have to let us know how things go with your birds. Try to be patient. It won't be easy when they're calling for each other!

I just remembered this. Our "pecking" bird is named Dos (he was the second chick to hatch!) My son, Thomas, added another female to the cage of Dos and his partner, Pacho. After about four weeks, Dos pecked the new bird's feathers off really bad! She has been in "rehab" for a couple of weeks now, to let her feathers grow back. So, it just goes to show you that pecking habits are very hard to break. Dos seems to be doing fine with just his mate. Perhaps the space wasn't big enough for the three of them. Sometimes it's tricky, trying to figure out these little creatures! Good luck!
