I have a mixed group of males & females & they get along great 99% of the time, apart from the odd scuffle & feather plucking. They all sleep in a big huddle at night, which is great in the winter, sharing body warmth. As long as they have hidey places etc to get away if someone's in a bad mood then they should be okay. I wouldn't recommend having more males than females as they may fight, but saying that, some of my females are more territorial & aggressive than the males. If you put them all in the aviary at the same time there should be less fighting than introducing new birds to an established group, although there may be a little squabbling the first few days while they establish the pecking order.

Hope this helps, let us know how you get on!!
