Subject: Fostering another's Eggs

Hello All.
O.kay, I have 2 breeding pairs., Pair One, I've never seen them do the naughty bird thing, therefore I know her eggs aren't fertile. I've allowed her to sit twice and twice nothing.
Second pair are breeding better then my rabbits *LOL*
so I'm guessing these eggs will be fertile, however, I haven't had this hen long and don't know if she's a sitter or not. My other hen is... Can I give the sitting hen the other hen's eggs and she sit on them or will she KNOW they aren't her's and abandon them? Has anyone tryed this before? Is this even a good idea? I look forward to hearing everyone's opinion on this.
Donna
