Subject: Got some Buttons. a few questions.

hey all!

well i incubated and hatched two Tuxedo Button Quail.
they are 12 and 13 days old. and are eating there game crumble and are growing up so fast!

i am new to quail, i am a parrot person mostly but got into these for a reason i don't know. anyways.

Is it common to clip buttons wings? is it more of an optional/personal decision? or are there some good reasons to not do it. or reasons to do it etc...

I was curious on taming them down. right now they are not 'tame' and try to run away if they have the chance. but do settle down in my hand after a while. I could use some advice on this topic.

i am sure i'll have more questions soon!
