Subject: Before you breed

You may decide to breed your button quail even if you have only a pair or two. Sometimes people feel an obligation to breed because their quail produce so many eggs. Yet if you truly enjoy your quail, there is really no need to breed them. Demand and supply of button quail varies alot. Remember that if you do decide to breed, and go the artificial route, that an efficient incubator is a rather expensive proposition. I would be careful about making such an expensive commitment, especially if you have only a few pairs.
