Subject: Crazy female?

I have a 20 month old femal button quail, and she has been fine until now. She is currently moulting and her behaviour over the last week has been a little weird.

Every now and then when I go into the room, she'll have random outbursts of aggression. She'll start by making strange noises and puffing up her feathers, then she runs manically around the cage, when I try to get her out she starts biting me and flied upon my shoulders to peck my neck.

She is never like this, she's always been very calm and gentle towards us. She doesn't live with any other quails. It's also been pretty hot here, because there's a heatwave (but I live in England so it's not THAT hot) but our house is normally hotter in the winter anyway, because of the heating.

Should I be worried about her? She's just acting so unusual!
