Thank you for your kindness and sweet words, Trina! I'm so glad to see you back on the board!!! Please don't ever go away again!

Nutmeg is doing quite well, under the circumstances! She is so funny, She prefers boiled egg to her regular food, and she prefers to eat it out of our hands! We have a squeaky door to the entrance of the bird room. When I open the door, and she hears the squeak, she perks up, raises that neck and looks around! Then she gets excited and moves about in circles. Before, I would take one step in the room and she would start chirping, chiding me to stay away! Now, it's as if she wants the company! She has always been so skittish, and now to eat out of our hands is amazing! I offered her a fat slice of cucumber last night, and she was really hilarious, investigating it!

We realize it's one day at a time, and just enjoy her each day, as it may be her last.
