Thanks Diane! The chicks are all doing very well; there are 23 now. I did not medicate the water, and except for the light bulb burning out, the brooder has stayed at a pretty even temp. Last night I cleared out the unhatched eggs, cleaned the incubator, and set some Bobwhite eggs and a few more Button eggs. So I might have Christmas babies? The Buttons are getting their wing feathers; really exciting to see some of the colors. I don't know what I will do with all the Button chicks, but I can't bring myself to throw out the eggs when I've now seen how cute they are! This hobby could become addicting! Good chatting with you all!
