I just received a grant for 16 fertile quail eggs and an incubator. YEA! I've wanted to do this FOREVER! The caveat: when I brought up hatching chicken eggs, my principal was most concerned about "it being cruel to send them home with children who don't take care of them". Now I don't know what to do! If I hatched them, could I donate them somewhere? I live in the burbs of San Diego. Suggestions? Thanks!
